PTW Researcher engages with cross cultural pedagogies in architecture

In May 2022, Dr Anuradha Chatterjee presented her book chapter at the online book launch hosted by Kasia Nawratek (book editor), introduced by Graham Cairns (Routledge Focus on Design Education series editor), with contributions from chapter authors of the Routledge book Space and Language in Architectural Education: Catalysts and Tensions. The book focuses on experimental and cross-cultural pedagogies in architecture and design with language as a point of reference.

Gender Equity in Architectural Education in India

Dr Anuradha Chatterjee is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture (COA) in India where she was invited to deliver a CPD module titled Women/ Gender Equity in Architecture, organized by the Sushant School of Architecture in collaboration with COA on 04 May 2022. Dr Chatterjee’s presentation considered the topics of Gender, Canon, and Architectural Knowledge; Gender, Space, and the City; Gender and Representation; Gender, Workplace, and the Academy; and Gendered Pedagogies.
