Bio

Joining PTW in 2013 as both an Executive Director and General Manager of our China practice, Hui Liu has since led the design and management of several award-winning, large scale sport complexes and mixed use facilities including Jinan Olympic Centre, Shanxi Sports Centre, Hangzhou Olympic & Expo Centre, Zhanjiang Olympic Centre Stadium, Zhanjiang Aquatic Centre, Xi’an Olympic sports Centre, Xianyang Olympic Sports Centre, Danzhou Sports Centre, Jinan Triple Towers, Xinji Cultural Centre, Beijing Liulitun Five Star Commercial and Office Complex, and Shum Yip Midtown Shenzhen.

Her experience in large scale sport centres in particular covers a breadth of areas, from programming to the entire design process as well as on-game and post-game operation strategies, with her expertise and capability underpinned not only by years of practice and but extensive research. Hui Liu has researched such topics as unified technical measures for sports buildings, economic and technical parameter analysis of sports buildings, as well as the operation design of Beijing Olympic stadium. Her work has thus far resulted in the achievement of two patents, which is a direct reflection of Hui Liu's dedication to innovation in design and to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.

Finally, Hui Liu's knowledge and skills are held in high esteem by the CCDI, where she holds the role as Associate Design President, Sports Division General Manager.
