The Bondi’s contemporary design featured two striking elements. At the lower level the podium was wrapped with art-deco inspired bay windows, respecting the facades along Bondi’s promenade, while the dramatic curves of the tower defined its majestic external form.
Expansive living areas allowed flexible use, with curved glass bays and wintergardens providing panoramic views.
Interior materials were subtle and focused predominantly on stone and timber, continuing to terraces and balconies which allowed interior spaces to maintain a connection with the outdoors.
The sympathetic response to such a distinguished locale met with enthusiasm by the local community and professional authorities.
