Museum of Sydney - Warrane Theatre and Foyers Upgrade
PTW have upgraded the Warrane Theatre and key foyer joinery elements at the Museum of Sydney. The upgrade to the 120 seat theatre included all new seating upholstery and carpet.
On the upper First Fleet Gallery foyer (adjacent to the theatre), we developed the shared event space and entrance to the theatre. This features inlaid timber wall panels which open to create a bar area (including a commercial kitchen).
In the ground level entry hall, there is also a spectacular new sculptural Spotted Gum timber reception desk, complemented by two freestanding display and retail kiosks.
In previous years PTW were also engaged to upgrade service and back of house zones to meet current standards and compliance requirements.
