Developed through workshops with the client team, the concept was to bring the urban qualities of the city and street into the interior planning. Cross-site links across the floor plate were informed by the project scope, the curvilinear building form of International Tower One and the views and orientation of Barangaroo. The project accommodated three distinct working environments comprising: workstations accommodating the call centre zone with the best light and views; a central core with ABW focus; and additional executive suites and meeting rooms. The clean desk policy, adjustable seating, adjustable desks and ABW component were key to the flexible design which allowed for work at both assigned desks in the call centre zone and an unassigned area in the central hub.
