Bio

Kathlyn is a highly accomplished leader with exceptional creative thinking, sustainability, diplomacy and customer focus. Her leadership skills include organisational, change, human, project and financial management. She demonstrates strong business acumen, with the ability to streamline operations and enhance efficiency, while growing an organisation and cultivating a positive workplace culture.

As an architect with 35 years of experience, Kathlyn has overseen the development of feasibility, business cases, design, documentation, construction and completion/handover for various building types, including schools, hospitals, commercial buildings, multi-unit residential developments, hotels, conference centres, industrial properties, and cultural institutions. Her contract experience with procurement methods includes design and construct, early contractor involvement, construction management, and traditional lump-sum. She utilises her contract and business negotiation skills to position the business in the best possible light.
As President of the NSW Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), Kathlyn advocated for the public interest by promoting a high-quality built environment, especially public spaces and amenities. She was recognised by the NSW Building Commissioner and the Hon Kevin Anderson in April 2021 for her work.
