Diane Jones Returns as Mentor for Sydney Opera House's Built to Last

PTW Executive Director and UNSW Adjunct Professor Built Environment, Diane Jones, returns as mentor for the Sydney Opera House's dynamic mentorship program, Built to Last. Over the course of the 6 months, Diane will share her knowledge and expertise with her mentee, Sharmin Akter Sumi — a 3rd year Bachelor of Planning student at Western Sydney University — via one-on-one mentoring sessions. In addition, mentees have access to industry day outs and networking opportunities.

As a result, Sharmin and the other mentees will leave the program with invaluable insights into real-world practice; lasting, real-world connections; and burgeoning leadership capabilities, supporting them in accelerating their professional growth and becoming future leaders within the built environment.

Diane's participation in the program reflects PTW's ongoing commitment to fostering the next generation of architectural talent by ensuring strong links between the profession and universities.
