PTW China's Design Proposal was recently selected as one of the winning schemes for the Taizhou Stadium Design Competition.
The design of the stadium features a water droplet-shaped shell and is centered around a 40x70m competition-grade field, designed to accommodate a variety of domestic and international events as well as post-event operations.
The roof of the urban public space extending to the east of the stadium seamlessly integrates the delicate textures of Taizhou’s tapestry, creating a dynamic aesthetic that intertwines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. The LED lights cascading like constellations, casting flowing light and shadow rhythms onto the three-dimensional structure, creating an immersive urban art lightscape.
