Project Finding Iris

This project, led by Diane Jones, Kah Mun Tham and Ann Quinlan (2018-2020), and subsequently Dr Anuradha Chatterjee (2022-), looks at reducing social segregation between the silver generation and the broader community by investigating the qualities of living spaces and places.

With the ageing of the ‘baby boomer’ generation, there is a cultural shift and renewed interest in differing types of settings that are not ‘ageist’ and where people may live lives of well-being, supported by the social and urban infrastructure.

In February 2018 it received Ethics Committee approval for commencement. It is now being developed for publication with Routledge / Taylor and Francis.
