Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Velodrome
Located in Chun'an County on Lake Qiandao, the Velodrome was constructed for the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games and has a spectator capacity of 3,040 and a floor area of 22,000 square metres.
Along with track cycling events, mountain bike, road race, BMX, open water swimming and triathlon events are also set to take place in the venue cluster.
The upper dome steel structural truss and reticulated shell with transparent curtain wall sits atop the lower, concrete frame structure. Built with flexibility and adaptability in mind, it is expected that the venue will be transformed into a lakeside entertainment venue after the completion of the Games.
