The $66 million new Glenaeon Renewal at 199 and 207 Forest Way, Belrose reflects the commitment of the residents, PTW and Lendlease to maintain and strengthen ties to the surrounding community, providing lifestyle and wellbeing initiatives, places to grow, and living options for people as they grow older.
Glenaeon Retirement Village is a 30 year old village comprising 221 independent living units, 51 serviced apartments and community facilities. The proposed renewal project will integrate 60- new, premium independent living apartments (ILA) on the 207 Forest Way precinct. A new residential aged care facility is proposed for the precinct at 199 Forest Way.
The design of the independent living apartment precinct responds to the opportunities offered by the site in terms of the relationships to the existing village, the potential district views and the significant topography and bushland setting. The design aims to create a unified site composition of built and landscaped spaces which meet the social, operational and service model, while drawing on the specific site conditions in relation to the SEPP 65/ ADG and Seniors Housing Principles.
