Uniting Care Bowden Brae
位于Normanhurst区的重新开发项目赞同及保留一个较新的被称为“Bowden Brae”拥有老年护理设施的住房。现有的老年人宿舍及独立套房因不符合Uniting Care 老年护理服务的标准而将被拆除。
该基地通过毗邻地块收购而扩大，其将为Hornsby区提供众多社区设施包括两个日间护理中心，短期居住服务配套设施及独立套房，并满足高龄人群对生活护理服务的特殊需求。
项目遇到了各种难题，其中：基地最高和最低点相差18米，地块有大量的成熟乔木和一个需要考虑文物保护的花园，同时也要考虑道路噪音的侵扰以及在规划控制草案中，将只允许建设两层高建筑物。现在第一阶段规划设计方案中，建筑物被规划了五至七层高。
