PTW Architects is looking for an Architect / Project Professional with local experience. You will join our growing Design Team and work across multiple sectors. Immediate start.
About the role
Our expanding Sydney team is seeking a passionate Architect with a minimum of 7 years’ experience and well-rounded design and documentation skills, to join our studio. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your experience in the transport and multi-residential markets. You will work with a truly passionate team of Architects and Interior Designers while further developing your professional skills and profile. You will be working closely with the Infrastructure and Residential teams to undertake design, documentation and construction phase services at the direction of senior team members for major PTW projects.
About you
Ideally you will bring the following skills, attributes and experience:
- Degree in Architecture.
- At least 7 years' professional experience in a similar role.
- ARB architectural registration is desirable.
- Transport and Residential experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of transport infrastructure projects.
- Building construction knowledge is essential, and a dedication to the principles of sustainable design and innovation.
- A good understanding of the local area and networks within the region.
- A talent for creating and maintaining relationships with our internal and external clients.
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates a flair for design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Australian Standards and statutory regulations for rail and/or similar infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) and MS Office are essential.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written). We are looking for an effective communicator and someone who is comfortable liaising with various levels of clients, consultants and contractors.
- Being adaptable and reliable in our dynamic and fast-paced environment will be the key to your success.
